James Blackford is a Sydney based musician, highly regarded as one of the best up and coming euphonium players in Australia. James is an Australian Music Foundation alumnus, awarded the foundations Guy Parsons Award, in 2019, making him the first ever euphonium player to be supported by the AMF. Concurrently, whilst studying a Master of Music at the Royal Northern College of Music, in Manchester, he was a winner of the college´s highly competitive concerto competition.
